该基地位于密云区东部密云水库一级水源保护区（117°08′78″-117°08′91″E，40°53′81″-40°53′95″N），面积500亩。2009年，在“十一五”国家科技支撑计划支持下开始建设。现有房屋面积70平方米。建设有17个50平方米长期定位径流监测系统、3000平方米坡耕地面源污染防控示范工程。安装有气象站、自动雨量计、干湿沉降仪、径流水量超声传感仪、数据采集器、痕量气体观测仪、径流流量监测仪等野外科研观测仪器设备。承担国家科技支撑计划、“十三五”国家重点专项、北京市重大科技计划、联合国开发计划署、农业科技示范推广等科研项目任务，获得了面源污染防控系统监测数据，形成了农业面源污染生态防控技术体系，并进行了示范推广，为密云水库水质安全、水源保护区生态恢复、当地绿色生态农业发展提供了坚实科技支撑。

The base currently has 300 square meters of research and living houses. It is undertaking the tasks of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" national key special projects, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Plan, and the Beijing Municipal Academy of Agriculture and Forestry "The Agricultural Resources Efficient Utilization and Agricultural Product Safety Innovation Team", using the ecological pollution prevention and control technology of non-point source pollution and the cyclic agriculture technology model based on planting and breeding, based on biodiversity, carried out four types of water, soil and nitrogen phosphorus loss control based on Alfalfa (Medicago sativa.), Cosmos (Cosmos bipinnata), Yellow clover (Melilotus officinalis), and Indian blanket flower (Gaillardia pulchella Foug.). To achieve effective prevention and control of non-point source pollution, “four seasons evergreen, three seasons of flowers, two seasons fruit picking” landscape and economic effects.
